DREA Peacock Syringa

Introducing our new mare addition from Oregon, DREA Peacock Syringa. Syringa is a beautiful black leopard mare of 14.2 hands and western type. This mare has a great build and would most likely do well in anything timed or western events. She has spent 3 months in training with Noell Devenny from Desert Spirit Appaloosas. Noell says that Syringa is a real sweetheart and is very eager to learn and please. A real treasure to have around. We intend to take her out to a couple fall shows to give her experience and see how she does. We are also very excited to see her first foal in 2014 by BCAP Tobys Fossil. Stay tuned!

WR Honey Bun

We are very excited to introduce our newest broodmare addition, WR Honey Bun. Originally bred by Marvin and Karen Smyser, Honey comes to us from CT Ranch in South Dakota. Honey is a well proven broodmare and her offspring can be seen on CT Ranch’s website. This mare stands 15.2 hh. She is currently in foal to CTR Smokin Hot Eagle for a July 2014 foal.

CTR Lady Nutmeg

This 2008, seal brown few spot, 15.1hh mare came to us from Yellow Medicine Appaloosas in Minnesota. We bought her in foal to their beautiful stallion, CTR Chocolate Reign. Nutmeg is 97% FPD with names like Chief of Fourmille, Storm Cloud F, Red Eagle, The Toby's and many more in her pedigree. Nutmeg has proved to be a great mother and we are very happy to have her as part of our broodmare band. Nutmeg has been started under saddle and will continue her training in the following year.

Storm Cloud Angel

"Angel" is a beautiful black snowcap filly and a shuffler that comes to us from our friends at Double C Appaloosas in Minnesota. Angel should mature around the 15.1 hh range. She is a granddaughter of My Silver Eagle and has many greats in her pedigree. We are so happy to have this opportunity. Thank you to Trish Christian for making it possible!

S an R Snap Shot

"Snappy" is a beautiful dark buckskin filly that originates from S & R Appaloosas in Indianna . Snappy should mature to the 15.2 hh range. She is a beautifully bred filly with horses such as Sunspot Revel and Chief Chelsea in her pedigree. We are very excited about this girl and we believe she has a bright future.

PLA Brave Arrow

PLA Brave Athena

Introducing our first foal of 2021, PLA Brave Athena!
She is by CTR Brave Moons Echo out of PLA Tennessee Rain. This makes Athena a second generation PLA baby!
Born in the early hours of March 4th, she came quickly and was up on those long legs just as fast. She still has some unfolding to do but we like what we see so far! Given the trying times, on many fronts, that are going on in the world we wanted to give her a name that reflected that. In Greek Mythology, Athena is the goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilization, law and justice, strategic warfare, mathematics and strength. Given this, I feel the name Athena is very fitting.

PLA My Crimson Heart

We are very pleased with this fourth time cross from My Exquisite Heart and Kitstoby Navajo Lily. Like his sisters before him, this boy is big! Long legged, beautiful defined head and well-built, we know he will be athletic and versatile just like the rest of his family. Stay tuned for more photos as he unfolds!

PLA Choklate Moon

We are over the moon (😉) with this first time cross between CTR Brave Moons Echo and Eclats Coco Surprise! He's well put together, he moves well and so far displays the same good mind that all our Brave babies do. We are excited to see him unfold.
This boy is named in honour of both his sire and his maternal grandsire, Choklate Confetti!

PLA April Rain

Tall, elegant, correct, these are just a few words we would use to describe our newest filly. When the opportunity arose to breed to one of our own colts, we couldn’t pass it up. So presenting PLA April Rain, bay characteristics filly out of CTR Stillwind Reign by PLA Brave Warrior.
Sure some would say aren’t you disappointed she doesn’t have a loud pattern? But to us, conformation and pedigree always come first and she has both! Plus, we know that she will make a great sport prospect for someone or a great addition to a breeding barn.

PLA Echo of Courage

This beautiful colt was born in the early morning of April 2nd. This is a second time cross between CTR Brave Moons Echo and NAD Galaxie. Once again, they didn't disappoint. This beautifully marked bay leopard is big, correct and loves attention. Being born during the 2020 pandemic, we feel Courage is a very fitting name.

PLA Nashville Storm

We are very excited about the arrival of our first second generation foal! When Tennessee came home this summer, we found she looked awfully round. A vet exam quickly confirmed our suspicion, she was not in foal for spring but for this fall.
So introducing PLA Nashville Storm by CTR Smokin Hot Eagle x PLA Tennessee Rain.
We are anxious to see this homozygous colt unfold.

PLA Velvet Heart

My Exquisite Heart and Kitstoby Navajo Lily have done it again! PLA Velvet Heart is a black blanket filly born June 16th, 2019 in the wee hours of the morning. Like her full sisters PLA Exquisit Phoenix and PLA Heart of Dixie, she is tall, has good bone and and is very elegant. We can't wait to see her unfold. Stay tuned!

PLA Smokin Trickster

Born March 28th, 2019.Black leopard colt out of CTR Ochoco Dahli by CTR Smokin Hot Eagle. This beautiful boy has been sold to the US as a future stud prospect with the Aberle's.

PLA Brave Archer

Introducing PLA Brave Archer, a fancy black léopard colt with lots of chrome out of NAD Hilary by CTR Brave Moons Echo. This fella was born in the early hours of April 23rd looking like he was a few weeks old. He is tall and very built. We cannot sait to see him progress. Brave never disappoints with his big, straight, well-minded offspring.

PLA Ebony Sky

This little lady was born on the last day of September, the night after her brother’s. As we have said, CTR Attas October Sky arrived this summer and as we suspected upon seeing her, she was in foal for this fall rather than the coming spring. As a result, we have a beautiful black non-characteristic filly! She is named after her grandmothers: Ebony Mirage Spot and Makis Fire in the Sky. We cannot wait to see her unfold.

Beautiful red leopard filly born October 19th, 2018. She is the first foal out of Eclats Coco Confetti, a daughter of the Choklate Confetti, and is by CTR Smokin Hot Eagle. This fancy lady is big and has the movement to go with her size.

Beautiful filly born March 16th, 2017. This little girl is sweet as can be. She is sired by Secret Bear Hunter out of NAD Hannah (Choklate Confetti great-granddaughter). This girl is well put together and has some good get up and go. Very excited to see her develop!

PLA Moon Ovr Cimaron

This beautiful coloured leopard named in honour of his sire and maternal grandsire was born just before midnight on April 27th. He was up within 20 minutes, drank with no assistance and ran laps for three hours until finally deciding to take a cat nap. This boy is full of it! His mama stands a solid 15.2 hh so you can see that he is a big boy! We are excited to see him unfold.

PLA Exquisit Phoenix

Our first My Exquisite Heart foal in Canada and boy were we not disapointed. Phoenix is a stunning black blanketed filly born around 10 pm on April 5th, 2016. This is one of the biggest foals we have ever had. Before we checked we were sure it must be a colt. She has a beautiful head and a sweet personality. We are excited to see her unfold!

PLA Solar Echo

Echo is a beautiful fewspot leopard colt born June 13, 2015. We suspect that he may be homozygous for PATN1 as well as being homozygous for LP. This boy is one of the biggest foals born in our program so far. He will be a big boy, but very elegant.

PLA Easter Moon

Junior is the result of a first time cross between CTR Brave Moons Echo and June Many Spots. We are very pleased with the guy who is very obviously his clone, hence the barn name Junior. He is a leopard fewspot and is therefore homozygous. This boy has a great temperament, easy to handle and is a fast learner. He should mature to the 15.1-15.2 hh range. He is Futurity eligible.

PLA Brave Spirit

Introducing our first foal from CTR Brave Moons Echo x Mischief (1/4 Appaloosa, 1/4 welsh, 1/2 Percheron) born 07/04/2014 at 7pm. This foal will be registered ApSHA and for sale. We could not be happier with this first foal out of Brave. We knew Brave was homozygous for LP but after seeing this guy we wonder if he may be homozygous for PATN1 as well. As more of his progeny hit the ground, we will have a better idea. What is clear to us is that Brave stamped this colt! Spirit’s dam has a bald face with 4 white socks. Spirit himself has NO socks and only a small white mark on his forehead. This boy is also built like his daddy! We feel that Spirit will make an amazing jumper. On his maternal side, there are a series of proven jumpers. On his paternal side, his ancestors are built for the sport horse world. His paternal grandsire stands 16.2 hh and has been exported to Switzerland. If you are looking for your next sport horse partner whether for endurance, dressage, eventing or jumping this could be the boy to get you noticed! PLA Smokin Hot Buns

Born in the early morning of July 24th 2014, PLA Smokin Hot Buns is the result of a cross between CTR Smokin Hot Eagle and WR Honey Bun. This boy is practically mom's clone except for his facial markings. We are quite confident in saying that this colt is going to be a big boy! His sire Smoke measures in at 16 hands with great bone and conformation. His Dam Honey is 15.2 hh. very correct and well built! Stay tuned as this gorgeous boy develops.

PLA Moon Dancer

This morning we woke up to this beautiful guy. He is by CTR Brave Moons Echo out of Kitstoby Navajo Lily. He is jet black and with white on his rump. We predict that he will have a large white blanket as he ages. This guy has an absolutely beautiful head, long legs and great build. You can see his pedigree on allbreed. We are thrilled with this first time cross!

PLA Cherokee Snofire

Not only is Cherokee one of the most beautifully marked few spots we have ever seen, he is also the sweetest boy you will ever meet. This elegant boy have beautiful floaty movement, is good loking and he knows it! Cherokee will be attending the CCRCQ Futurity on September 22nd in Sorrel, QC.

PLA Gold Rush Lady - SOLD

Nutmeg and Rush produced a pretty leopard filly this year, "Lady" was born in the night of June 10th, 2013. Lady along with her dam, Nutmeg, have been sold to Maude and Sophie Trepannier of Grandes-Rivières QC. They are very excited about this filly and we are anxious to see how she develops.
